Not all space heaters are created equal! Find out which type is best for your needs.

Homes tend to be colder in the winter time, so it’s no surprise that space heaters are one of the most popular home appliances on the market. People use them to keep their living rooms, bathrooms, and even kitchens warm and cozy during the coldest months of the year. But just because they’re so ubiquitous doesn’t mean that all space heaters are created equal; some are better suited for specific applications than others. To get the most out of your heater purchase, it’s important to choose one that suits your needs perfectly.

Space Heater Comparison

There are three types of space heaters: convection, radiant, and fan-forced. The type you choose will depend on what you’re looking to achieve and how much money you want to spend on a heater. -Convection heaters use infrared waves that heat up the objects in the room rather than the air. These are great if you just need some warmth in one specific area or have smaller spaces that need heating.

-Radiant heaters generate infrared waves as well but they don’t require any contact with an object; these also work really well in small spaces and cost less to run than other options.

How To Choose The Best Space Heater For You

The first step in choosing the best space heater for you is to determine what size of heating area you need to cover, and how much money you want to spend on the heater. There are four types of space heaters that vary in size and cost: electric, kerosene, oil-filled, and wood stoves. Electric heaters work well if your heating area is up to 800 square feet.

What Are The Different Types Of Space Heaters, And Which One Is Right For You?

There are four types of space heaters: oil, gas, electric and electric with a fan. Oil and gas both require ventilation so that fumes don’t build up inside the room, while electric and electric with a fan don’t need ventilation but can be more expensive to use over time than oil or gas models.

Convection Heaters

Warm air rises, so in order to maximize warmth, convection heaters should be placed low and close to the ground. They also tend to be cheaper than other types of space heaters, but they may not always be the most efficient option if you’re looking for a way to keep the entire room warm (or cool).

Radiant Heaters

Ceramic Heaters

Ceramic space heaters are a great option if you want to stay warm without spending too much money on energy costs. They’re a particularly good choice for an office environment, since they do not produce fumes that can cause sickness or headaches, and it doesn’t take long for them to reach the desired temperature.
